Charles Daniel Small III
Charles Daniel Small III, 66, of Beaumont, died Sunday, October 15, 2017, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. A lifelong resident of this area, he was born on May 4, 1951, to Sylvia Leona Payton Small and Charles Daniel Small II. Charles loved his family very much and had a green thumb for when it came to growing plants.
Survivors include his siblings, Janie Mounce and her husband, Cecil, of Lumberton; Joseph Daniel Small and his wife, Camille, of New York; and Sharon Parish and her husband, Don, of Beaumont; nephew, Jason Riddle; and nieces, Emily Small and Andrea Padilla.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Debra Padilla; and father, Earl Tyson Mosley.
A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

Chuck, you were the best brother-in-law a guy could have. I remember so many visits on our back patio with so much laughter over home-grilled rib-eyes or filets, and a few beers for me! You could be gruff and hard-headed but you had such a big heart! Sharon and I miss you so much, but we will see you again in the blink of an eye...
