Gaines Lee Wullenwaber
Gaines Lee Wullenwaber, 71, of Beaumont, died Thursday, October 12, 2017. He was born on May 27, 1946, to Frances Craven Wullenwaber and Albert Carl Wullenwaber, in Dunn, North Carolina. Gaines was United States Army veteran having served two tours in Vietnam with the 11th Calvary and was an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife, Lauren Wullenwaber; children, Alysa Wullenwaber Watkins and her husband, Grady, of Ocean Isle, North Carolina; Lelia Ann Skinner and her husband, Rob, of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; Mary Ashley Smith; Gaines Lee Wullenwaber II and his wife, Misti, all of Beaumont; brother, Frank Wullenwaber and his wife, Flonnie, of Hampstead, North Carolina; grandchildren, Sydney Owens; Jordan Dermond and her husband, Chris; Addison Skinner; Nicole Smith; Lane Wullenwaber and expected grandson, Tucker; and one great-grandchild, Reece Owens.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of Mr. Wullenwaber’s family and friends will begin at 11:00 a.m. with his funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 16, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Interment will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Beaumont.
