Geraldine Lauver

September 17, 1934 - October 10, 2017

Geraldine Lauver, 83, of Lumberton, died, Tuesday, October 10, 2017. She was born on September 17, 1934, in Patton, Pennsylvania, to Manilla Bay Smith Lauver and Claude Lauver. Geraldine was a retired nurse of forty-seven years; which nursing was her passion in life.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Dye, of Lumberton; son, Ralph Kirby of Honolulu, Hawaii; son, Lawrence Kirby of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Lauver and his wife, Fay, of Anchorage, Alaska; sisters, Donna Depto, of Patton, Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.

Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents.

A private family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont. She will have her final resting place in Patton, Pennsylvania on May 13, 2018, with a graveside service to be with her family and God.
