Mack Moore, Jr., 79, of Nederland, died August 8, 2017. He was born on October 1, 1937, in Galveston, to Rebecca Ericksen Moore and Mack Moore, Sr.

Mack is a United States Air National Guard veteran. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mack was very fond of cooking, especially Cajun cooking. He enjoyed his camp in the marsh and traveled for ten years in their R.V. Mack mostly loved his family and his church.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-eight years, Pat Moore of Nederland; son, Gary Moore and his wife, Tonya, of Bridge City; daughters, Sherri Causey and her husband, Gerald of Port Neches and Sheena Papania of Nederland; grandchildren, Chad Moore and his wife, Teran; Ryan Moore; Kyle Moore; Brandi Stanley; Brian Papania; Tyler Thibodeaux; Maci Broussard and her husband, Josh; Lanie Hall; and Shane Hall; eighteen great-grandchildren; and faithful Yorkie companion, Oliver.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Alfred Moore.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Moore’s memory to Central Baptist Church, 903 Avenue B, Port Neches, Texas 77651.

A gathering of Mr. Moore’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by his funeral service at 11:30 a.m., Friday, August 11, 2017, at Central Baptist Church, 903 Avenue B, Port Neches. His interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
