Richard Wayne Harrington

Richard Wayne Harrington, 49, of Thornton, died Friday, November 3, 2017. He was born on July 20, 1968, in Winnie, to Glynda Sue Carouthers Harrington and Felix Wayne Harrington. Richard worked for Crown Pipe, and as a journeyman welder, traveling from state to state, working on various job sites. He enjoyed fishing, shrimping, and oystering, fixing cars, cabinet and furniture building, as well as riding his motorcycle.

Richard is survived by his wife, Rosalie Sibay Dacillo Harrington; mother, Glynda Gambini and her husband, Ben; brothers, Rodney L. Harrington and his wife, Rachel; and Christian Gambini and his friend, Massie; as well as numerous friends and cousins. He will be dearly missed by so many.

Richard is preceded in death by his father.

A gathering of Mr. Harrington’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with his funeral service, at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at First Baptist Church – Winnie, 120 West Pear Avenue, Winnie, with his interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
