Sammy Humble
Sammy Humble, 70, of Silsbee, died Thursday, November 30, 2017. He was born on August 12, 1947, in Silsbee, to Billie Jean Lindsey Humble and Sam Fairchild Humble, Jr. Sammy proudly served his country in the United States Army and later worked as an instrument tech for Brown and Root.
Survivors include his wife of forty- seven years, Sharon Humble; children, Sean Humble and his wife, Ami, of Buna and Shama Harris and her husband, Raymond, of Silsbee; grandsons, Tanner Humble and his imminent spouse, Mackenzie and Blake Humble, all of Silsbee; granddaughters, Hudsyn Humble, of St. Louis, Michigan and Carmyn Harris of Silsbee; great-grandson, Tripp Fairchild Humble; brother, Robert Humble; sisters, Brenda Goats, Beverly Baumann, Debbie Goins, and Jeannette Ard; numerous nieces and nephews; and loving pets, dog, Tex and cat, John Wick. Sammy is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michael Wayne Humble.
A gathering of Sammy’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with his memorial service at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 4, 2017, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His committal will be handled by Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
