Anna Belle Trahan

Anna Belle Trahan, 96, of Cove, died Friday, May 19, 2017. She was born on March 6, 1921, in Gonzales, Texas, to Lena Fair Wright and Cyrus Thomas Robbins.

Survivors include her son, O. Wayne Turner and his wife, Wilma; daughter, Brenda Delafield and her husband, Jack; grandchildren, Tanya Young, Wayne “Bubba” Turner, Todd Turner, Beth Russell, Jeff Nix, Clint Delafield, and Jason Delafield; great-grandchildren, Heather, Amber, Joshua, Anna, Rachel, Greason, Whittley, Kade, Caroline, Dalania, Bailey, Taylor, Christopher, Levi, Austin, Treager, Taylor, Tyler, Brodie, Jaxon, and Jayce; and great-great-grandchildren, Autumn and Emma.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of thirty-nine years, Nelson Lee Trahan; sisters, Mable Wieser, Jessie McDonald, Ruby Foreman, Fern Harrison, and Myrtle Robbins; brothers, Leroy Robbins and Hayes Robbins; and great-granddaughter, Tori Turner.

A gathering of Mrs. Trahan’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 22, 2017, at The Sanctuary, 10530 Eagle Drive, Mont Belvieu, under the direction of Broussard’s, Winnie. Her interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Crosby.
