Barbara Huffstetler

Barbara Huffstetler, 56, of Beaumont, died Saturday, June 24, 2017, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born on February 10, 1961, to Dolores Martin and Joe Castilleja, in San Antonio, and was a United States Air Force veteran. Barbara was an interior decorator and loved to garden and bake.

Survivors include her husband, Jon Huffstetler; children, John J. Huffstetler of St. Francisville, Louisiana; Crystal Miridis and her husband, Chris, of Houston; Casey Martin and his wife, Jennifer, of Puyallup, Washington; and Constance Martin of San Diego, California; grandchildren, Cameron Martin, Maci Huffstetler, and Marlee Martin; and brother, Joseph Thobaben and his wife, Marcelle, of San Diego, California.

She is preceded in death by her biological father, Joe Castilleja and adopted father, Gary Thobaben.

Mrs. Huffstetler’s cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A burial of her cremated body will be held at 11:15 a.m., Friday, July 14, 2017, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Shelter 2, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio.
