Denise Ann Wheeler

Denise Ann Wheeler, 60, of Cypress, formerly of Kountze, died Saturday, March 25, 2017, at VITAS Hospice, The Woodlands. She was born on January 14, 1957, in Kountze, to Alice Marie Muniech and Raymond Lamar Wheeler, Sr. Ms. Wheeler worked in oil sales for Baker Hughes.

Survivors include her children, Ben Steven Hunter of Cypress and Henry Fredrick Hunter III of Houston; grandchildren, Patrick Hunter, Madison Hunter, and Matthew Hunter, all of Houston; siblings, David Arthur Wheeler of Shiner; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a large church family at Fairfield Baptist Church in Cypress.

 She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Raymond Lamar Wheeler, Jr.

A gathering of Ms. Wheeler’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. Her interment will follow at a later time at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.
