Felecia Vell

Felecia Vell, 56, of Nederland, died Sunday, August 27, 2017, at Christus Hospital- St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on May 19, 1961, in Port Arthur, to Lena Mae Cessac Breaux and David Lee Breaux. Felecia enjoyed needlepoint, line dancing, fishing, playing guitar with her grandson, Kaden, and feeding seagulls at the park. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Survivors include her husband, Rodney Vell; daughter, Sarah Stewart and her husband, Cody, of Beaumont; son, Joshua Vell and his wife, Thu, of Port Neches; grandchildren, Kaden, Brandt, Cooper, and Ainsley Stewart and Jaxon, Jacob, and Aaliyah Vell; brother, Jeff Coward; half-sister, Sabrina Pate; half-brother, David Breaux, Jr.; and uncle, Jerry Cessac.

A gathering of Mrs. Vell’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 1, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North12th Street, Nederland. Interment will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
