Franklin “Frank” Leroy Weathington

Franklin “Frank” Leroy Weathington, 82, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017. He was born on April 29, 1935, in Crossville, Alabama, to Cathleen Jerusha Kirby Weathington and Leroy Lackey Weathington, and was a United States Army veteran.

Frank is survived by his children, Glenn Weathington and his wife, Gloria; Kathi Weathington Hughes and her husband, Lance; Bart Weathington and his wife, Jeanie; and Lenell Smith and her husband, Greg; daughter-in-law, Dana Weathington; grandchildren, Evan Weathington Hoffman and her husband, Steve; Mya Weathington; Abi Hughes; Alex Weathington; Rebecca Weathington; Justin Weathington; and Christopher Smith; brother, Kerry Weathington and his wife, Mary Ann; sister, Lissa Shine; nieces, nephews, and cousins all over the world; and his special friends and family here in Beaumont, Carol and Dan Strouf, Tracey Allen, Karen and Keith Glidden, and Jada and Mike Kamp.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Bonner Orr; brother-in-law, Larry Barton; and special friend, Pam Alred.

A memorial service for Mr. Weathington will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont, with a gathering to follow at Broussard’s Centre, 1775 Calder Avenue, Beaumont. A private family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
