Gerladine MArie Diaz

Geraldine Marie Diaz, 78, of Beaumont, died Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born on October 28, 1938, in Morse, Louisiana, to Emma and Willie Leleux and had been a longtime resident of Beaumont. She was a retired Auditor from the State Comptroller.

Geraldine is survived by her sons, Damian Diaz and his wife, Melissa, of Beaumont; Christian Diaz and his fiancée, Taina, of Conroe; and Gilbert Diaz II, of Pearland; grandsons, Damian Diaz, Dylan Diaz, and John Thomas Diaz; sisters, Verna Bounds McCollom, Bonnie Luleux, Christine Bertrand, and Lee Anna Payne; brother, Maurice Luleux; and father of her children, Gilbert Diaz.

A memorial service for Ms. Diaz will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
