Dear Betty and all of Jay's family: I was so shocked and saddened by news of Jay's death. I only heard about it on the news Thursday. I have such fond memories of him as a little boy with Charlie and J.B. at our house in Sour Lake and at your house in Silsbee. I'm sorry to say I didn't know him as an adult, but from all the stories I'm hearing, he became the man you and J.B. would have wanted him to be. Hopefully I will see you at the Visitation. Love, Cleo and Carroll.
