Lois Marie Wilson

Lois Marie Wilson, 82, of Nederland, died Monday, July 10, 2017. She was born on February 7, 1935, in Port Arthur, to Catherine Corales Papas and Louis Papas.

Survivors include her daughters, Kristy Thompson and her husband, Robert, of Mansfield and Kimberly Thomas and her husband, Tugie, of Orange; sons, Ricky Wilson of Nederland and Kelvin Wilson and his wife, Jenny, of LaBelle; grandchildren, Katherine Ewing and her husband, Tim; Lauren Vidiyala and her husband, Ashwin; Michael Thompson; Reece Thomas; Clay Thomas and his wife, Angie; Brandi Helm and her husband, Josh; Jaselyn Wilson; Aaron Wilson; and Austin Wilson; great-grandchildren, Corbet Vance, Gage Thomas, Zack Thomas, Jax McGalin, Abigail Ewing, and Valerie Ewing; sisters, Lucille Thibodeaux and Patricia Pitre; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas Harold Wilson; and sisters, Thelma Parker and Stella Proctor.

A gathering of Mrs. Wilson’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with her Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 13, 2017, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue, Nederland, with interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Port Arthur.
