Lula “MaMaw” Mae Molbert

Lula Mae “MaMaw” Molbert, 91, of Port Arthur, died Saturday, March 18, 2017. She was born on June 26, 1925, in Port Arthur, to Dora Comeaux Boudreaux and Jules Boudreaux.

Survivors include her daughter, Cherie Molbert and her husband, Jimmie Daily, of Nome; granddaughter, Laurie Simmons and her husband, Joe, of Nederland; great-grandson, Joshua Simmons; great-granddaughter, Jessica Simmons; numerous nieces and nephews; and a very large extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Allen Joseph Molbert.

A gathering of Mrs. Molbert’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2017, with her interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
