Marian Frances Hayslette

Marian Frances Hayslette, 92, of Conroe, formerly of Nederland, died Tuesday, March 28, 2017. She was born on December 3, 1924, in Nederland, to Augusta Lacoste Creswell and Francis Douglas Creswell. Marian was known for her kindness and sweet disposition, and her life centered around her family.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Jennifer Robin and her husband, Jeremy, of Conroe; Jamie Bone and her husband, Jason, of Spring; and Diana McGrath and her husband, Buddy, of Conroe; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Claire Robin, Allison and Travis Bone, Courtney and Christian Jackson; nieces, Phyllis Matheson, Mary Ann Creswell, and Joan Kaack; great-nieces and nephew, Aggie, Kaitlyn, and Jared; and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles E. Hayslette, Jr.; daughter, Cheryl Frances Ferguson; and brother, John Creswell.

A gathering of Mrs. Hayslette’s family and friends will begin at 8:00 a.m., with her funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 31, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street. Her interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.
