Minnie Ruth Robson

November 12, 1952 - July 14, 2017

Minnie Ruth Robson, 64, of Vidor, passed away, Friday, July 14, 2017, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas – Beaumont. She was born on November 12, 1952, in Beaumont, to Helen Bernice Pittman Robson and Fred Arthur McWilliams.

Minnie was a one of a kind person who had a passion for Harleys. She loved her family, the beach, and her plants. Minnie lived in the Golden Triangle her whole life. She spent the last ten years in Bridge City with her partner, Carl Giedion.

Minnie is survived by her three daughters, Sue Monteaux Morton, of Vidor; Jackie Rogers, of Vidor; and Nature Robson, of Lumberton; her granddaughters she loved dearly, Shy Montreaux, Destiny Thurmon, and Faith Lewis; brothers, John McWilliams, of Tyler; Jack McWilliams and his wife, Vickie, of Moss Bluff, Louisiana; and Darrell McWilliams and his wife, Pam, of Vidor; sisters, Maggie Arena, and Carol Cloyd and her husband, Danny, all of Vidor; and many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Helen McWilliams; and her brother, Fred McWilliams.

A gathering of Ms. Robson’s family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 17, 2017, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A private family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
