Patsy D. Toups

Patsy D. Toups, 88, of Nederland, died Tuesday, October 24, 2017. She was born on November 30, 1928, in Port Arthur, to Eola Laura Langham Dumesnil and Dennis Celeste Dumesnil.

Patsy enjoyed going to the lake, traveling, and visiting her friends in Dallas. She loved the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros.

Survivors include her son, Gary Toups and his wife, Jacquelyn, of Nederland; grandchildren, Heather Carrillo, Matthew Toups, Amy Richter, Chad Bradberry, and Danica Eaves; twelve great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; sister, Eloise Willey of Nederland; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eola and Dennis Dumesnil; brothers, James and Roland Dumesnil; great-grandson, Caden James Richter; and brother-in-law, James Willey, Jr.

A gathering of Ms. Toups’ family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland, with her graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m., at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
