We will miss hearing Perry "W5KGZ" on the air. He always had a nice gentle voice and was very polite and considerate. I never met him in person but I feel like would have been a nice person.

Just learned today, Sept. 17, of Perry's passing, I spent a lot of time with Perry during my early years in Amateur Radio. Perry was always a perfect gentleman, and I learned a LOT from him over the years! My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. He will be greatly missed by many that had the privilege of knowing and learning from this nice man.

My sincere condolences to the family at this difficult time. May you all seek God for comfort, peace, strength and support (2 Cor 1:3).
