Phillip Hoyle Bell

Phillip Hoyle Bell, 84, of Nederland, died Sunday, July 2, 2017. He was born on November 30, 1932, in Wells City, to Birdie Edna Hayes Bell and Cecil Bell. Phillip enjoyed reading and watching old westerns on television.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years, Elisabeth Bell; sister, Margaret Biermordt Waldrep; niece Angela Walton Rountree; and great-niece, Andrea LaFleur, all of Nederland.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Cecil Edward Bell; and nephew, Brian Walton.

A gathering of Mr. Bell’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
