Thomas Clifford Babineaux

Thomas Clifford Babineaux, 88, of High Island, died March 15, 2017. He was born November 3, 1928, in Creole, Louisiana to Ozite Kershaw Babineaux and Thomas Babineaux.

Thomas is survived by his daughter, Delores “Dee Dee” West of Livingston; son, Clifford “Butch” Babineaux and his wife, Patti of Port Bolivar; sister, Louanna Duhon of Lake Charles, Louisiana; grandchildren, Chelsea Miller and her husband, Mike, of Brookeland; Danielle Peria and her husband, Tony, of High Island; great-grandchildren, Ethan McAlpin and Caden Peria; step grand-daughter, Cassidy Tyler and her husband, Kyle; special friends, Jerry Harrington and Linda Bobino; numerous nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents; wife of forty-four years, Uva Jean Flickinger Babineaux; sister, Leona Johnson; brothers, Winston Babineaux, and Russell Babineaux.

A gathering of Mr. Babineaux’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., Friday, March 17, 2017, with his funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m., at Broussard’s Chapel, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Interment will follow at High Island Cemetery, High Island. Ethan McAlpin, Mike Johnson, Beau Duhon, Dolan Trahan, Paul Lynn Bobino and Kyle Tyler will serve as pallbearers.
