Thomas “Tom” W. Terrell

Thomas W. “Tom” Terrell, 82, of Nederland, died Sunday, May 21, 2017. He was born on June 30, 1934, in Chandler, to Mary Nowlin Terrell and Eugene Terrell.

Tom retired from DuPont after thirty-six years of service. He enjoyed golf and cooking on the grill. Tom will be remembered as a loving husband, father, papaw, uncle, and brother.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-three years, Becky Terrell of Nederland; sons, Paul Terrell and his wife, Beth, of Silsbee; Barry Terrell and his wife, Melissa, of League City; and Todd Juneau and his wife, Suzanne, of The Woodlands; daughters, Kay Gragg and her husband, Bill, of Nederland and Jaime Griggs and her husband, Scott, of Marietta, Georgia; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rachel, Tamara, Ashley, Jetta, Caitlyn, Helena, William, Regan, Travis, William J., Charlotte, and Jesse; eight great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Frances Cotten and her husband, Jim, of Athens.

He was preceded in death by his wife of twenty-four years, Wanda Terrell; parents, Gene and Mary Terrell; son, Billy Terrell; and brothers, Douglas and Paul Terrell.

A gathering of Mr. Terrell’s family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., with his Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
