Vera Evelyn Boren

Vera Evelyn Boren, 96, of Beaumont, died Sunday, August 27, 2017. She was born on July 30, 1921, in Galveston, to Mabel Moudy and Donald Charles King, and had been a longtime resident of Beaumont.

Vera is survived by her daughters, Karen Chapman and her husband, John and Becky McIntosh; son, Frank P. Boren III; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank P. Boren, Jr.; granddaughter, Cassie Chapman; twin sister, Verna Burford; and brother, Charles Kiser.

A memorial service for Mrs. Boren will be at Rosedale Baptist Church, Beaumont, at a later date.
