CONTINUING CARE & GRIEF SUPPORT

As part of Broussard’s Continuing Care, “Getting Better” represents the long term commitment the Broussard family and staff has to you and the families we serve. Facilitated by a dedicated Pastoral Counselor, Chuck Oliff, MEd., LPC, “Getting Better” is a gathering of families and friends who have, and are facing the life transitions involved in the death of someone close to them.

You, your family and friends are invited to attend these gatherings. They will be held one night a week for an eight-week session, and you will be able to discuss topics which typically concern survivors. Those attending these gatherings will be families Broussard’s has served, interested friends and anyone who may be searching for answers. You are encouraged to bring along a guest.

In addition to this invitation, you will be sent reminders, and even receive a personal contact before the beginning of a session to encourage your attendance. Everyone is welcome. There is no cost, nor mandatory attendance requirement, so please attend as many sessions as you need to move forward on your Road to Healing.
