Driver Safety Training

Driver safety is a priority, not just as employees, but in our personal lives as well. This safety course must be completed by all employees who currently operate company vehicles and/or will operate company vehicles in the future. There are three components required in order to complete the training: the self-assessment, the training quiz, and the driver safety policy acknowledgement. Each can be found on this webpage as you continue scrolling through the content. Thank you in advance for your participation!

SELF-ASSESSMENT

To begin, please complete the assessment in the table below. Remember, honesty and a commitment to improvement are key in self-assessment. If you answer “no” to any of these questions, it’s an opportunity to learn more about safe driving practices and commit to implementing them in your workplace driving. You can send your self-ratings by email to HR@broussards1889.com, you can print this and fill it out, too – whatever works best for you.

RESOURCES

This is a resource that you can use for further information and guidance.

VEHICLE ACCIDENT FOLDERS

All company vehicles are equipped with Vehicle Accident Folders. These folders are located in the glove box of each vehicle and contain important documentation necessary for the company to obtain in the event of an accident of any kind. Employee drivers are to complete the form immediately following the time of the accident and return the form to HR and their manager as soon as it’s completed. The employee’s manager should also be notified about the accident immediately following the incident. An example of the Vehicle Accident Report Form is included below that employees are required to complete. Vehicle Accident Folders also include general safety information and company insurance information for the vehicle.

COMPANY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The Broussard’s Driving Safety Policy form is shown below and the acknowledgement/signature box has been included as well. It is required for all employees who operate a company vehicle at any time. Please complete the form below and HR will be notified immediately.
