Agnes Pousson Verrett

January 7, 1937 - October 7, 2020

Agnes Pousson Verrett, 83, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, October 7, 2020. She was born on January 7, 1937, to Theresa Reed Pousson and Dennis Pousson, in Port Neches. 

Survivors include her daughters, Margaret Bagley and her husband, Terry; Frances Parfait, Kay Verrett; Janice Parfait and her husband, Joe; sons, Mike Verrett and his wife, Diane; Richard Verrett; Lawrence Verrett; Paul Verrett and his wife, Jennifer; and Stephen Verrett and his wife, Misty; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Yvonne Verrett; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Richard “Red” James Verrett; sons, Dennis Verrett and John Verrett; and brother, James Pousson.

A Rosary for Mrs. Verrett will be recited at 5:30 p.m., with a gathering of her family and friends to follow, Monday, October 12, 2020, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 4445 Avenue A, Beaumont, with her interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
