Billie Parnell

August 2, 1952 - January 10, 2018

Billie Parnell, 65, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, January 10, 2018. She was born on August 2, 1952, in Baytown, to Evelyn Brown Yeats and B. R. Yeats, and had been a longtime resident of Beaumont. Billie was a cosmetology instructor and ministry partner with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Parnell; children, Jason Parnell and his wife, Tracey; Jarod Parnell and his wife, Stephanie; and Heather Hembree and her husband, Jeremiah; grandchildren, Michael Parnell, Emily Parnell, Hannah Parnell, Victoria Parnell, Scotty Hembree, and Robbie Hembree; and sisters, Joyce Drake and her husband, Clyde and Candy Drake.

Billie is preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and B.R. Yeats; and grandson, Payton Hembree.

A gathering of Mrs. Parnell’s family and friends will begin at 12:30 p.m., with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 15, 2018, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A graveside service will follow Monday afternoon at 3:30 p.m., at Friendship Cemetery, Roganville.
