Elizabeth Guynes

Elizabeth Guynes, 80, of Hemphill and formerly of Saratoga, died Wednesday, November 28, 2018. She was born on May 18, 1938, in Saratoga, to Mary Elizabeth Ryan and Hugh Arnold Parker.

Survivors include her children, Diana Riley and her husband, Walter, of Hemphill; Richard Hinson and his wife, Lisa, of Kinder, Louisiana; Joe Guynes and his wife, Lora, of Wildwood; Billy Guynes and his wife, Angie, of Temple; and Jessie Guynes and his partner, Thomas, of Longmont, Colorodo; brothers, Rusty Roth of Kountze and Joe Parker of Hemphill; and sisters, Judy Albright of Conroe and Jan Delaval of New Caney; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.  Elizabeth is preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert Ray; and brother, Gene Parker.

A gathering of Mrs. Guynes family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze, with a graveside to follow at Felps Cemetery, Thicket.
