Glenn Bradford “Brad” Jacks

Glenn Bradford “Brad” Jacks, 61, of Nederland, died Tuesday, October 3, 2017. He was born on December 19, 1955, in Sour Lake, to Ollie Whitehead Jordan and Carmen Jacks.

Brad enjoyed hunting and fishing, western movies, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. He loved reading western books and watching NASCAR. Brad’s children and grandchildren were his world.

Survivors include his wife, Vicki Jacks of Nederland; sons, Jason Jacks and his wife, Andrea, of Nederland and Bryan Jacks and his wife, Danielle, of Denham Springs, Louisiana; daughter, Britni Brandin and her husband, Brent, of Groves; grandchildren, Taylor, Connor, Harper, Ellis, Easton, and Peyton; sister, Barbara Lucas of Broaddus; brother, Max Jacks of Sour Lake; and mother, Ollie Jordan of Pineland.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A gathering of Mr. Jacks’ family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m., with his funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m., Friday, October 6, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
