I want to share my love to this family! My memories of Jack is him driving Diane down College St in his red corvette on a Saturday morning; loving his wife, children and grandchildren. Many of times he brought his grandkids to get haircuts from me when they were young; working hard to keep there yard groomed and pushing the vacuum in the house (as I recall); my latest memory of him was the past 7 years, cutting his hair at home after his tragic accident. I’ll never forget him puckering those lips for me to kiss him before I left! I’ll get to give him one last haircut and have closure tomorrow. Jack will always have a special place in my heart! I loved him dearly!

My heartfelt condolences going out to you, Diane and all the family. I didn't really know Jack until after his accident, but what a Christian man he was. He accepted his situation from his accident like no one I have ever seen. Never saw him without a smile or a laugh. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers as you go through the hard days ahead. But, I know you will all be fine because of your strong Christian faith and knowing that Jack is walking in Heaven with his Lord and Savior. May God bless you all. Love you.

Diane and Family, I wanted to express my deepest sorrow for the unfortunate loss of your husband, Jill and Amy's dad and their family's. I'm know that he will be greatly missed. Diane I regret not having been able to spend time with you and Jack after we reconnected. Jack's acceptance of his circumstances and his positive attitude were remarkable. Somehow words never seem enough in difficult times like these but just knowing that you have the love of family and friends will hopefully help you all in moving forward. Jack Cannon was a special man. We have just learned of his passing. We lived in Beaumont as neighbors from 1985-1990. After moving to Austin, we seldom got to see Jack & Diane. But when we did return to Beaumont & would see him at the Brentwood club, he always remembered us and greeted us with his loving smile. Jack was a loving man, a very special man who will live on with us in spirit. Jack is with our FATHER GOD/JESUS CHRIST in heaven I know smiling on Diane, his family and many friends. Jack has gone ahead and for those of us still here, Jack might remind all of. us........... "Rejoice; pray without ceasing; give thanks for everything; for this is GOD'S will for you through CHRIST JESUS." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Don & Margaret Ames
