Janet Flower

Janet Lynn Flower, 53, of Kountze, died Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on November 10, 1964, in Kountze, to Bonnie Rose Cooper and James Luke McDonald. Janet retired as a nurse’s assistant.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-six years, Larry Flower, of Kountze; children, Jason McDonald and his wife, Sara, of Lumberton; Curtis Flower and his wife, Lacey, of Warren; and Troy Flower and his wife, Ashley, of Rye; grandchildren, Jason McDonald, Jr., Dalton McDonald, of Lumberton, Alyssa Flower and Luke Flower, of Warren, and Larry Wayne Flower, Hunter Leroy Flower, and Ricky Howard Flower, of Rye; sisters, Donna Harrison, of Silsbee; Tina Singletary and her husband, Billy, of Honey Island; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Ronnie McDonald and Bubba McDonald.

A gathering of Mrs. Flower’s family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 14, 2018, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 15, 2018, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Holland Cemetery, Kountze.
