I am so sorry to hear of Janice's passing. We were BEST friends in high school and in the Orchestra together. She was lots of fun to be with. She helped me pass senior PE by lying about how many pushups I could do. If I couldn't do them, I didn't pass. It was a BIG thing. I am eternally grateful. We lost touch after we married and moved from Beaumont. You all have my deepest sympathy.

I met Janice when I transferred from Giles to Bingman in the 5th grade. We were in many activities together throughout the years until we graduated together at SPHS Class of 65. Prayers to her family.

Janice was a good friend throughout high school at South Park but also through South Park Baptist Church. We reconnected several years ago and it was good to see her. I am so sad to hear of her passing. My condolences.

I have good memories of Janice from school and South Park Baptist Church. I had not seen her for a while but a few years ago she, Margie Blackshear Covington, Charlotte Wise Stout and I spent a fun day together at the Kemah Boardwalk. I am happy to have those memories of her too. She mentioned that one of her former students called her "Mom" so I guess she must have been quite a teacher and willing to be more than a teacher when the situation required it..
