Jesse Hornsby

Jesse Ray Hornsby, 88, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on January 1, 1930, to Ollie Jane Bryan and John Hornsby.

Jesse is survived by his daughters, Linda Holtkamp and her husband, William, of Austin and Brenda Nelson and her husband Kyle, of Beaumont; grandchildren, William Holtkamp IV, Christopher Holtkamp, Amanda Nelson, and Hannah Nelson; and several great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Agnes Magee Hornsby.

A gathering of Mr. Hornsby’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 9, 2018, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont.
