John Freddie Trahan, Sr.

John Freddie Trahan, Sr., 83, of Groves, died Tuesday, March 2, 2021. He was born on January 28, 1938, in Rayne, Louisiana, to Louise Trahan and Leonard Stansbury. John is United States Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia “Pat” Trahan, of Groves; daughter, Deanna Trahan, of Houston; son, James Dock Frisby III, of Nederland; daughter, Sandy Jo Watts and her husband, Kevin, of Orange; daughter, Destiny Nicole Fisette, of Groves; grandchildren, Missy; Holly; Tristen; Cayden; great-grandchild, McKenzie; and nieces and nephews, Chap, Little Gene, and Meagan.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, John Trahan, Jr.; daughter, Rebecca McKin; and grandson, Kevin.

A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
