Diane, Donna, Betty, Lisa and Bill. I am truly saddened to hear of your loss. I loved my “Aunt Johnnie” unconditionally. She and my Mom (Mae) shared a lifetime of happy times, shopping for antiques and for hours visiting on the telephone. My Dad (Fred) and Uncle Don were good friends and wonderful fathers. Mother and Daddy adored your parents and cherished the times we spent together. My Mom loved “Johnnie”like a sister, they were closer than most sisters. Had it not been for your mom, my parents would have been able to adopt me. Just this week I found 2 of the last pictures they took together. I would love to share them with you. I will miss her sweet smile, love and kindness and her grace and style. She was a classy lady. The next few days and weeks will be hard. God will help ease your pain. Unfortunately I can’t be with you for the final good-bye. My love to each of you.
