Joseph Anthony Geheb

September 7, 1936 - January 8, 2021

Joseph Anthony Geheb, 84, of Beaumont, died Friday, January 8, 2021. He was born to Alma Underbrink Geheb and Edward Geheb in Beaumont. Joseph was a hard worker, loved model cars and trains. He liked to square dance and clog and loved to play the guitar.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years, Helen Eileen Geheb; children, Dr. Karen Geheb and Michael Harris, of Pullman, Washington; Felicity Jones and her husband, Rayburn, of Beaumont; Donna Hall and her husband, Miles III, of Beaumont, Kevin Geheb and his wife, Anna, of Beaumont; Carmel Geheb, of Beaumont; and Kimberly Villemez and her husband, Rodney, of Beaumont; brother, Edward Donald Geheb, of Potosi, Missouri; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Alma Geheb; brothers, Marion, Harry, and Paul; sisters, Louise, Mary, Dorothy, Alice, Eunice, Leonora, and Joyce.

A gathering of Mr. Geheb’s family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, Beaumont.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 42040, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73123 or M.D. Anderson Hospital, 1515 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, Texas 77030.
