I can't believe you're gone, Joe. I always thought I'd see you again and we'd hang out some time. I'm sorry I didn't see you more after we graduated. I loved your sense of humor and our weird funny conversations. I remember in 8th grade history class when we had to write journals like we were pioneers traveling West and we had fun coming up with some crazy funny stuff. You were one of my favorite people. I really regret not seeing and talking to you more. There were so many interesting things about you I didn't know until your passing. You're greatly missed, old friend!

Joe, i cant believe you are gone. I remember running around in my front yard that night i sliced my foot open. All the trips to hang out at pn park before or after school just to hang out and look at the water. I really cant believe you are gone! One more angel to watch over us. Rest easy friend til i see you again.

I was one of Joe's close friends from around 3rd Grade all the way through PNGHS and several years after we had graduated. It was such a blessing to be Joe's friend. Anyone who knew him well will remember his laughter, and I know that I'll miss it very deeply. He was always there to listen if you needed an ear, and he always wanted to help in some way if he could. He had an amazing imagination and was a gifted artist. I remember the great times we had watching Anime, playing D&D, and just riding around Port Neches and Beaumont in that black pickup he loved. My heart goes out to his family after this tremendous loss. I am crushed by the sudden passing of my friend. I always thought we'd get together and catch up. Now everything unsaid is it's own sorrow. I love you so much, Joe! You'll always be in my heart.
