Lois Chance

April 27, 1926 - February 2, 2020

Lois Chance, 93, of Silsbee, died Sunday, February 2, 2020. She was born on April 27, 1926, in Port Arthur, to Mattie and Fate Kimball.

Survivors include her son, Marvis Llano Chance and his wife, Debbie, of Hornbeck, Louisiana; daughters, Carolyn C. Waddell and her husband, David, of Silsbee; and Wendy C. Gonzales and her husband, Marc, of Beaumont; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and sister, Jane DeCelle of Broaddus. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wyvon Chance; brothers, Joe Kimball, J.D. Kimball, and Sonny Kimball; and sister, Gloria Huddle.

Mrs. Chance’s graveside service will be 3:30 p.m., Saturday, February 15, 2020, at R.S. Farmer Memorial Park, Silsbee, under the direction of Broussard’s, Silsbee.

A memorial dinner will immediately follow our mom’s service at the home of Carolyn and David Waddell, 202 Hendricks Drive, Silsbee. All are welcomed to come and celebrate the life of our loved one.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Heart to Heart Hospice, 550 Fannin Street, Suite 1200, Beaumont, Texas 77701.
