Mary Bradford

Mary Bradford, 98, of Kountze, died Thursday, December 7, 2017. She was born on August 24, 1919, in Port Arthur, to Mary Consetta Vienna Mondello and John Anthony Mondello, Sr.

While not giving birth to any children of her own, she was a second mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to a host of nieces and nephews who she loved dearly as her own.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Larkin Bradford of Kountze; and brother, Joe Mondello of Port Arthur. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Louis G. Mondello, Luke Mondello, and John Anthony Mondello, Jr.; and sisters, baby girl Mondello, who died in Sicily, Lena Mondello Cutaia Gallerano, Jennie Mondello Gigliotta, Josephine Mondello Brocato, and Angelina Mondello Wells.

A gathering of Mrs. Bradford’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 9, 2017, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her interment will follow at R.S. Farmer Memorial Park, Silsbee.
