Michael Jay Bobb

Michael Jay Bobb, 51, of Kountze, died Saturday, August 5, 2017. He was born on February 17, 1966, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Wanda Andrues Mammelli.

Survivors include his wife, Regina Bobb; mother, Wanda Andrues Mammelli; in-laws Joe and Bonnie White; children, Amanda Bobb; Jacob Bobb, his girlfriend, Angie “Angiebelle” Murphy; and Mitchell Bobb; brother, Jack “Bubby” Bobb and wife, Sharon; Aunt Darelene Bourgeious; Uncle Tony Karatzelidis; and nieces, DeAnn and Jaclyn Bobb. In-laws Carrie and Scott Grinnell, Barbra White and her fiancé Brad, Brandi and Herb Hartman, Melissa and Mike LaFrance, and Nicolle “Ninny” White and boyfriend Eric; nieces and nephews D.J. White, Madison and Vance Hartman, Shaun Poley, and Hailey LaFrance. He is preceded in death by his Aunts, Shirley Moody, Jan Karatzelidis, and Sammie Chauvin; Uncles, Willie Andrues, James Andrues, and Carl Andrues; and cousin, Edna Creato.

He was a loving father, husband, and son whose passions were spending time with his family and fur-children, coin collecting, and the New Orleans Saints. He constantly reminded those he cared about how much he loved them, and he was very loved in return.

A gathering of Mr. Bobb’s family and friends will be 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His committal will be handled by Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

Mike, when I think about you I remember all the great times we had. When you and Regina first moved to Houston how much time we all spent together. Those were great times! Although our time together after you moved from Houston was limited i have fond memories of those times as well. now you are in another place. I will see you again on the other side..
