Myron Danny Rawls
Myron Danny Rawls, 68, of Evadale, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017. He was born on September 14, 1948, in Jasper, to Lucille Richards Rawls and Elton Rawls. Danny served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era where he received the Purple Heart, and later retired as a machinist from the papermill.
Survivors include his wife, Diana Rawls; children, Reverend Ed Rawls and his wife, Regina, of Orangefield; and Mike Rawls and Jessica Hobbs and her husband, Chuckie, all of Evadale; grandchildren, Evan Rawls and his wife, Brandi, of Nederland; Garyth Rawls and his wife, Brittany, of Kennedale; Kaleb Rawls and his wife, Madison, of Bridge City; Brittnee Carnes and her husband, Blake, of Fort Worth; and Kagen Rawls, Tori Hobbs, Shelbey Hobbs, Laney Hobbs, and Elynne Hobbs all of Evadale; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Nadia Martindale and her husband, Jeff, of Jasper. He is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter-in-law, Tiffany Rawls.
A gathering of Danny’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his memorial service at 11:00m a.m., Saturday, August 5, 2017, at Central Baptist Church, 120 PR 8325, Evadale. His committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
