Nancy Lyons
Nancy Ruth Cribben Lyons, 75, of Beaumont, died Saturday, November 3, 2018. She was born on April 14, 1943, in Brockton, Massachusetts, to Ruth Nelson and James Austin Cribben. She was a retired LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor.
Nancy was a very successful businesswoman which began as a teacher, then into sales, and for the last twenty years, doing what she loved, operating her own business as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
She was welcomed into heaven by her parents, Ruth and James Cribben as well as family members and friends.
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Lori Lee, of Houston and Melissa Lyons Diaz and her husband, Damian, of Beaumont; sister, Jeanne Kazmierski and her husband, Fredi, of Houston; and grandchildren, Lauren Robinson and her husband, Carter; Landon Lee; Laela Lee; Damian Diaz II; and Dylan Diaz.
A gathering of Mrs. Lyons’ family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her entombment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Arthritis Foundation, 1355 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 600, Atlanta, Georgia 30309 or to American Psychology Foundation, 750 First Street NE, Washington, DC 20002, as she would wish to continue serving others in the field she loved.

Nancy Lyons - Christian Counselor- That was the answer I received from a trusted friend in 2004 at FBC Beaumont when I had a great need. Nancy's professionalism and caring approach, proved to be the true answer I needed. I looked forward to my appointments with her. Many years later, we were able to be the loving friends we could not be as counselor/patient. I loved her so much and knew that she loved me. When I said "goodbye" to Nancy a week ago on Monday, we did not know that would be the last time on Earth. I know that she is worshipping the Lord in Heaven at this very moment and that makes me happy, but we are still here on Earth, so the tears are flowing. God bless you, family.
