I only knew Paul for a few years but he and Joyce were dear friends. I will miss him. I learned he liked doing woodworking so to my rescue he came. My husband was making a trunk before he got sick so he was never able to hook the lid to the trunk. I asked Paul if he would look at it and fix it. Wow! He and Joyce went overboard and not only fixed the lid but stained it and pub all kinds of gold trim on it. I can't think them enough. He was there to help me when my car had a problem. Senior Saints will not be the same without him sitting in front of Cecil and me playing BINGO. I love you Paul Your friend Anna.

I met Paul my freshman year at Texas A&M, it was known then as The Agricultural & Mechanic Collage of Texas. I will never forget how kind and friendly Paul was to me. That First Thanksgiving, Paul invited me to his folks home for the Holidays. Being from New York I didn't get home only at Christmas and the end of the college year. While at his parents we went out to the irrigations canals. I saw this big snake. Paul said it was a Cotton Mouth, which was poisonous and they traveled in pairs. I wanted nothing to do with them as strongly suggested we get out of there before it's pal showed up. I met Paul in Cortland, New York for dinner on one of this business trips an renewed our friendship. He was a great guy and I will not forget him. Best to all his family in this sad occasion. I had the great pleasure of being Paul and Joyce’s next door neighbor for 20 years. Paul was such a great patient and caring man to take time to help with anything we ever seemed to get ourselves in. His stories of growing up, helping FFA and 4h kids and his family were always a blessing to listen to.. Mr. Paul you will truly be missed. Joyce and family Christina and I are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and Prayers are with you all.
