Rita Faye Smith
Rita Faye Smith, 71, of Silsbee, died Monday, January 18, 2021. She was born on September 11, 1949, in Beaumont, to Doma Callaway Gore and Vernon Gore.
Survivors include her children, Stacy Williams and her husband, J.J. and Kinki Eakin and her husband, Danny, all of Silsbee; Dusty Smith and his wife, Christina, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; and Tiffany Theriot and her husband, Chris; grandchildren, Devan Smith, Kayla Pigg, Dakota Martin, Payton Smith, Madison Smith, Chloe Pigg, Gavin Theriot, Naomi Smith, Tori Theriot, Drake Williams, Dawson Williams, Avery Theriot, E.J. Smith, Vivianne Yarborough, and Scarlett Williams; sisters, Lynda Gore of Beaumont and Jan Gore Buckner of Silsbee; and nieces and nephew, Chelsye Buckner Thomas, Danielle Cannon, Lizzie Broussard, and Joe Walling. She is preceded in death by her parents.
A gathering of Mrs. Smith’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
