Robbie "Memaw" Lanell Morse, 81, of Kountze, died Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Pine Arbor, Silsbee. She was born March 19, 1939, in Kountze, to Mae Thelma Hargraves and Worthy Bankson Mills. She retired as a cashier and operator for Walmart.
Survivors include her children, Anne Royston and her husband, Tom, of Orange and Don Moel and his wife, Patti, of Kirbyville; grandchildren, Shannon Loredo and her husband, Jesse, of Silsbee; Kelley Adair of Katy; Deidre Palomino and her husband, Frank, of San Marcus; Jeri Moore and her husband, Jon, of Orange; Meghan Moel of Brewton, Alabama; and Elliott Moel of Kirbyville; seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Arthur Pender of Vidor. Ms. Morse is preceded in death by her parents; grandsons, John Weeks, Jr. and Slade Weeks; best friend, Daisy; and siblings, Donald Mills, Roger Mills, and CR Pender.
A gathering of Ms. Morse’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 18, 2021, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her interment will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.

I never forget you MeMaw and Daisy. I was your provider with LifeSpan and I was the last to see you on the 24th of December, 2019 before you drove to Ann's for Christmas. We had so much fun making your cranberry sauce th as t morning and picking out your clothes to wear and bring to Ann's.house that day. I packed your car for you and helped you to your car to leave. I loved going to your home and cleaning. You said i was the only one that did it right like you liked it and you didnt have to tape as t yourself to me. You are a truly blessed woman and I'm am so glad i was part of your family for the ye as r and a half i knew you. Fly high my MeMaw and give Daisy girl kisses for me.
