Shirley Belle Saatzer

Shirley Belle Saatzer, 85, of Village Mills, died Saturday, July 25, 2020. She was born on March 2, 1935, in Port Arthur, to Jessie Eugene Brown Depew and Lampkin Depew. Shirley loved to read, decorate her home, and travel. She also enjoyed holidays, spending time with her cats, and singing in church.

Survivors include her husband, Roy A. Saatzer, of Village Mills; son, Michael Loupe, of Mexico; daughter, Terrie Cimino and her husband, Sam, of Groves; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sons, Scuddy Loupe III and Daniel Loupe.

Mrs. Saatzer’s committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
