Terrence McGovern, Jr.
Terrence Michael “Terry” McGovern, Jr., 58, of Beaumont, passed away at his home on Sunday July 1, 2018.
Terry was born in St. Louis, MO on April 18, 1960, to Terry and Gerry McGovern. He was raised and educated in Beaumont, TX. He attended Lamar University and was former co-owner of Dean Pump Company.
Terry enjoyed music, cooking, fishing, golf, and hunting. He loved camping and anything that kept him outdoors. He had a big heart and was always willing to share a story or lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
He is survived by his parents, Terry and Gerry McGovern of Beaumont; his sons, Andrew McGovern of Houston and Collin McGovern of Winnie; brother, Kevin McGovern and his wife, Vicki, of Houston; sister, Kathleen Anderson and her husband, James, of Fort Worth; the mother of his children, Rozalyn McGovern of Winnie; nephews, Travis Anderson, Cade McGovern, Ryan McGovern, and Jace McGovern; and nieces Caroline Anderson and Colleen Anderson.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 9:45 a.m., with a Memorial Mass celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 13, 2018, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
