Brother, you were a good neighbor to my mother and I will never forget. You also were a good man always with a smile and kind word. The world could use more like you. Enjoy Mary Nell. She got your place ready for you. Godspeed my friend.

Yes Hicks you right, he was worried about the limbs over her house and getting her some new front steps. He would put out fire ant poison also in her yard. He was a carrying man. I'm going to miss our bible chats . See you soon Bro Dave.

Mr. Gardner was my Aunt Eugenia's neighbor for as long as I can remember. She told me many times he was as good as a neighbor as you could have. We had many a conversation over their fence while he was tending to his garden (and he had some great gardens). We talked about everything from politics to religion and everything in between. He was a wise and intelligent man that I greatly respected It was an honor to know him. Rest In Peace my friend.
