My deepest condolences to the family along with my prayers for their comfort in Bro. Bills passing. I cannot calculate the hours of conversation, Bible study and prayers I have spent knee to knee and heart to heart with Bill. He had a passion for The Word, a desire to (in his words) "get it right" that will always be branded in my understanding as evidence of a "man after God's own heart". I encourage each of you during the celebration of his passing to have confidence in knowing he is now worshipping at the feet of Jesus because "he got it right".... Tommy and Penny Barnes

I will never forget Bill & his kindness. Linda and Bill were friends to my parents before my parents passed. My dad was a mechanic and he worked on Bill and Linda’s vehicles. I am a nurse and was working in Home Health, several, several years ago. I don’t think I ever told Bill or Linda this, but I had an encounter with the sweetest lil woman. She was old, she was poor, and she was weak, and old. When we chatted and she found out where I lived she asked me if I knew Bill and Linda. I was so surprised and said well yes I know them they are family friends and neighbors.. I was so surprised that she knew them then she went on to tell me of the unbelievable kindness and caring hearts that Bill and Linda had toward her in the unbelievable things they did to help this little, old, woman , who lived alone. , I was so amazed to hear that routinely y’all bought and brought her groceries,, fresh vegetables and fruit., and had prayer with her,. Linda I am so sorry for your loss & you are in my prayers no doubt that Bill is living eternity in heaven and glory where he will be waiting for you, and I am sure him and my dad are already talking about cars.
