Ada Iline Laredo

Ada Iline Laredo, 91, of Kountze, died Friday, February 3, 2017. She was born on August 13, 1925, in Corsicana, to Ada Belle Curtis Laredo and Charles Elmer Curtis.  Mrs. Laredo was a Past Matron of Kountze Chapter #724 and an Affiliated Past Matron of Wisteria Chapter #823, Order of the Eastern Star.  She was a faithful member of the Order for thirty-six years.

Survivors include her daughter, Iline McDaniel of Kountze; grandchildren, Tracie Heiselbetz and her husband, Joe, of Fred and Goldie Higginbotham and her husband, Jason, of Florida; great-grandchildren, Lacey Iline Rhymes of Lumberton; Brittney Nichole McCabe and her husband, Daniel, of Kountze; Ian Robert Higginbotham of Florida; and Jennifer Luke and her husband, Josh, of Kountze; great-great-grandchildren, Landen Rhymes, Caden Eastwood, Cameren Eichmann, Jayd`n Luke, and Declan McCabe; brother, Charles Edward Curtis of Tucson, Arizonia; and sister, Goldie Brian of Idaho.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Isidro Robert Laredo; son, Robert Charles Laredo; grandson, Robert Morris Rhodes; and son-in-law, Jack Ray McDaniel.

A gathering of Mrs. Laredo’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2017, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at OldHardin Cemetery, Kountze.
